Chase Francoeur, OD, FAAO
Dr. Chase A. Francoeur, OD, FAAO completed his Doctor of Optometry at the University of Houston as a recipient of the Indian Health Service Health Professions Scholarship. Upon receiving his doctorate, he completed an Optometric Residency in Ocular Disease at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology, where he received advanced clinical training with an emphasis in the management of acute care ophthalmic disease in a hospital-based setting while receiving additional training in neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastic, retina, and uveitis specialty clinics. Dr. Francoeur relocated to the Inland Northwest in 2022 before joining Spokane Eye Clinic in 2026.
Dr. Francoeur is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He holds active optometric licensures in Idaho, Montana, and Washington. Deeply involved in professional advocacy and leadership, Dr. Francoeur serves as Vice President, Board Member, and Membership Committee Chair for the Idaho Optometric Physicians. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association currently serving on the AOA's Third-Party Center Committee, and a former graduate of the AOA's Leadership Institute 1.0 and 2.0.
Dr. Francoeur's personal interests include hiking and road trips with his wife, home DIY projects and cheering on Manchester City or the University of North Carolina on the weekends.
